Biography:

Jay Benham has been running his London-based studio www.SoundAnswers.com for over 15 years, and has worked in almost every field of music making – from his classical roots through to pop, and now as an internationally renowned record producer.

His unswerving attention to detail and extremely high production values have led him to work with some of the best names in the business, including Robert Owens, SuSu Bobien, DJ Spen, Andrea Love, Angie Brown, Dawn Tallman, & Michelle Weeks.

In 2005 Jay teamed up with Danny Clark, creating what was soon to become one of the UK's most respected & sought-after production partnerships in Soulful and Gospel House.

Described in the music press as "UK dons" "flying the flag for British producers", the pair have released a string of hits, including Wondrous, Ft. SuSu Bobien on the legendary Strictly Rhythm imprint, and Conqueror Ft. Dawn Tallman on their own prolific Solid Ground Recordings label.

In contrast to his dance music, Jay’s band wendy is a beautiful blend of rich vocals, live instruments and laid-back electronica. Soon to be included on the soundtrack of a new British movie, ‘The Story Of…', wendy's distinctive and diverse sound can be heard at: www.wendymusic.co.uk
